The sea provides us with so much sustenance, but it’s not a bottomless pantry. Our crew knows how important it is to be good stewards of this treasure and strives to abide by this philosophy with every outing. The marine habitat and the creatures that live there need our help minimizing garbage and pollution that we are putting into our water ways. By taking care of this, we are taking care of them. The crew of the Sea Hare sets out on every adventure determined to do just that.

Salty Water Tours started as a dream and turned into a reality. We started as a Private Customized boat tours. We had turned away a lot of guests that had more than 6 guests. We decided to purchase a bigger vessel to fill those needs. With love of the sea and animals, we wanted to create an educational Eco-Friendly tour that can be shared with Friends and Family. The beautiful pristine waters and beaches in the St. Petersburg area is captivating. We wanted others to join us to take in unique beauty that this area has to offer. Awesome Trip
This excursion was AMAZING!!! The Captain and his first mate, Emily, were both fantastic from beginning to end. We saw dolphins, and they knew exactly where they would be and even had names for them. We also got to see a Manatee!!! From boating to shelling, snorkeling and spotting, this trip was first class all the way!!! Thank you, El Capiton and Emily!!! You made our day! Dolphin Tour & Visit Shell Key Preserve- Snorkel, Shell and Swim!
We booked this dolphin tour on our vacation to St Pete’s before we left home. . It was more than we were expecting. Capt Rob and Emily were personable and shared their knowledge about sea and bird life. We both enjoyed the experience. The stop at Shell Island was fun. You can can spot sand dollars walking the beach. We did see a few dolphins but that is a hit or miss. We were not disappointed. It was great day to be on and in the water.

Of course! Before you book with Groupon, please call and check the schedule and sea conditions to see if we have availability. We do not give refunds, you will need to contact Groupon.
We check NOAA everyday for sea conditions before each trip. If its a small craft advisory, we may cancel the trip and give refunds. If we do not meet the passenger Minimums, we may cancel trips with full refunds.
You can only cancel by calling 727.404.1672 at least 48hrs before the trip starts. We do not except texts or emails to cancel. If do not give us 48hrs notice, you will be charged the entire amount.

No, we only book adventures over the phone.
Dolphins are wild animals, we cannot feed them, touch them or alter their natural behavior. Dolphins follow food and can travel more than 15+ miles in the day. We do not guarantee them, but the Captain and Crew will travel to find them. Nothing else, you will have a great boat trip.
